Microsoft’s Christian Belady Speaking at Uptime Symposium on the Cloud’s Impact on Data Centers

Microsoft's General Manager of Data Center Services Christian Belady will present on Wednesday, May 15 at the Uptime Symposium in Santa Clara, Calif., discussing the company's cloud infrastructure strategy and how the latest technology 

trends are influencing to changes in our data centers.

Belady is responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure facility and server development worldwide, including research, engineering, construction, and operations for Microsoft's data center portfolio. The company started delivering online services back in 1994 with MSN and today our data centers provide over 1 Billion customers with over 200 services in 76 markets around the world.  Massive cloud-scale workloads have driven the company to rapidly evolve its strategies, designs, and operations. In his speech, titledThe Cloud Will Change the Data Center… Forever,Belady will focus on some of the lessons learned in managing one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures and the company's journey to improve remove complexity from its data centers, while improving the resiliency of its online services to deliver higher availability.

This year's Uptime Symposium is being held at the Santa Clara Convention Center from May 13-16.
