Would a purely managed operating system be appropriate for your embedded design? - There's already a good example of a shipping managed operating system, SPOT (Smart Personal Object Technologies, the o/s that runs in MSN Direct watches)

Not only that, but the SPOT's TinyCLR ships embedded on a single chip -- the only API for this chip is managed. Is 100% managed the way of the future?
One day, will native code only be for the dinosaurs? (that should generate some traffic Mike ;-))
