Windows 10 Just Keeps Getting Better

New DevicesThis week was HUGE for Windows 10. At an event in New York we announced a slew of new devices including: It's not over yet, however: our OEM partners have new devices on the way, so get ready for some more exciting announcements. Free Training Of course if you’re going to snag any of those new devices and use them in your organisations, you’ll need to get yourself updated with the latest on the Windows 10 features for business, and understand the options you have when it comes to deployment. IT Camps: we’re kicking off in October with a couple of free, hands-on, full-day Windows 10 for Business IT Camps in Auckland and Wellington. These will be popular and will ‘sell out’ fast so be quick to secure your seat! We also have a couple of Azure Infrastructure IT Camps lined up for Wellington and Christchurch for you in November. New Era of Windows 10 Devices With more than 110 million devices, and over 8 million business PCs running on Windows 10, there's a whole lot of device goodness to get excited about with the Surface Book, the Surface Pro 4, the new Lumia phones, the Microsoft Band 2, and the HoloLens Development Edition taking to the streets. Azure Backup Introduces Backup of SQL, Hyper-V VMs & More The backup of Microsoft SQL Server, Hyper-V VMs, SharePoint Server, Microsoft Exchange and Windows Clients has been introduced in Microsoft Azure Backup server. As well as workload support, Azure Backup comes with support for backup of large data sources and long-term retention for up to 99 years. For more details, refer to the Azure Backup documentation.
