The punch line is pretty simple: telcos creating "Astroturf" to make their position against Network Neutrality look populist. I'd laugh if I wasn't so mad.

Pop quiz: can anyone else think of a big industry using Astroturf to protect it's intrenched interests despite the harms to the public at large?
