AX 4.0 Enterprise Portal and WSS 3.0 - Themes

When you apply other themes from WSS, like Reflector or Plastic, Enterprise Portal (EP) retains the default theme. This is because EP doesn't ship with style sheets for all the themes of WSS.

To customize the EP style sheet to match the WSS theme you can create a new style sheet file for EP.

Take a copy of AXEP.css and customize it to match the theme (the comments in the css file points to the equivalent SharePoint style elements) and name the new file as

AXEP<themename>.css.

This file is in AOT under Web->Web Files->Static Files->AxEPv3 and on the web server it gets deployed to

<drive:>\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\ep\stylesheets
