Adding Analysis Services to existing SQL 2005 installation

If you have a SQL Server 2005 cluster and want to add Analysis Services under the same virtual server that SQL Database Services is using, then you need to install Analysis Services using a command prompt.

NOTE - Do not use Add/Remove Programs to add Analysis Services to your existing SQL Server 2005 installation on the cluster. Although the Add/Remove programs interface will allow you to select AS, but it will fail at the setup stage. This is because Add/Remove programs only allows you to add or remove Nodes in a cluster.

To install Analysis Services using command prompt, refer to the following article which provides details about the different switches.
