Final Windows Phone Developer Tools Releasing Sept 16

Today, it was announced on the Windows Phone blog that the final version of the Windows Phone developer tools will be released on Sept 16.  This release will have some minor breaking changes from the beta tools, so apps will need to be recompiled using the final tools before going into the marketplace.  It will also include the panorama, pivot and Bing Maps controls.

More and more training materials are becoming available.  There was a training course called the Windows Phone 7 Jump Start that was released last week.  It is for all developers interested in developing applications or games for the Windows Phone 7 platform, and includes 12 hours of classroom training and supporting exercises.

There is also the Windows Phone 7 Developer Training Kit which provides a step-by-step explanation of all the tools to use and some key concepts for programming Windows Phones.
