Microsoft Annual Company Meeting

Yesterday was my first Microsoft Annual Company Meeting, and it just blew my mind. It was unlike any other meeting I've been to, and was more like a huge concert, held in the 47,000-seat Safeco Field (considered by many to be the best baseball park in the world) in Seattle. It was an incredible experience, to be able to see and listen to heroes like Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer and other Microsoft leaders live.

Among the items I enjoyed the most from the meeting were the awesome demos on new and upcoming products, such as Zune, Vista, Office 2007 and a preview of new technologies such as PlayAnywhere (a projector and camera system that enables surface computing and gesture-recognition), 3D-imaging and speech recognition. I'm truly excited to live in and be part of this age of advanced technological discovery.
