Wow, I blew by two personal milestones last month: my 500th post (on 9/7) and my 10th anniversary since leaving the Navy (on 9/25). For the former, I never thought this blog would live that long. For the latter, it sometimes feels relatively recent, but in PC terms (one month post-Windows 95 launch), it was ages ago.
