In A Hitchhiker’s Guide to Visual Studio 2005 Team System for Microsoft Partners, I blogged that Microsoft Partners would be able to order additional licenses in December to complement the ones they receive as part of their Partner benefits package. Well, it's now January, but here is some updated information on that:
Beginning January 1st as an additional benefit to the program, Microsoft began offering Visual Studio 2005 with MSDN Subscription licenses at an exclusive discount for Microsoft Partners. Microsoft Gold, Certified Partners and Empower ISV members will be able to purchase licenses to any Visual Studio 2005 Edition with MSDN Premium Subscription, at 20% off the regular Open License (Business) price.
Microsoft Partner Program Regional Support Centers are available to answer any questions. Partners may call their local center to verify eligibility, or to confirm their membership number. For more information, contact your Microsoft Partner Program Regional Service Center. For US Customers, you can also call 1-800-765-7768, or e-mail mspp-na@microsoft.com.
