Where are the Web Tests?

Here’s a question from Glenn:

So, do you have an idea as to why I don't have "Web Test" as an option on a Test Project? I just have Unit and Ordered tests. Do I need to do something to get that to show up?

I contacted Glenn and he has Team Edition for Software Developers. As should be noted on Visual Studio 2005 Team Editions Comparison (but isn’t), Web tests are only available in Team Edition for Software Testers and Team Suite. That page only mentions, “Load Testing, Manual Testing, Test Case Management.” It should also say “Web Testing.”

  I think a lot of people are rather bummed about that. I was expecting some level of web testing available in the software developer edition, too.

  Thanks for the quick reply, Rob. That's a bit of a downer, but there's always NUnitASP....right?

  I was bummed too. I don't think ASPnUnit works with the 2.0 framework. Any thoughts?
