SAP announces release 3.0 of the SAP .NET Connector - Planned release date December 2010

A colleague just pointed me to a wiki at SAP (https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAPConn/ABAP+Connectivity+Home) where they announce a new version of the SAP .NET Connector. It will support current Windows releases (Windows XP 32 Bit, Windows 2003 32/64 Bit (x64), Windows Vista 32/64 Bit (x64), Windows 2008 64 Bit (x64) and later Windows 7) as well as up-to-date Microsoft .NET Runtime versions (2.0, 3.0 and 3.5).

Public availability is planned for December 2010. Starting immediately customers can apply for participation in a beta program. Shipment of the first beta versions is planned for July 2010.     I'm surprised at the news. I've heard that .NET Connector would not be developed or released any more. Then, will newer version of Exchange connector be also released?

    The Estimated Date is in October of this year, now the Beta version was launched for some customers of SAP thats have an account to SAP Service MarketPlace. Rgds.
