More than you wanted to know
If you haven’t made it to a TechEd, you are really missing out. Hundreds of super-smart speakers giving great presentations on all sorts of Microsoft technologies. If if you have attended, you likely ended up with the problem that 4 can’t-miss sessions were all taking place at the same time. Fortunately, the TechEd team has recorded all of the sessions and made them available online. You can watch through Silverlight Streaming, or download in WMV or MP4 video. Many of the sessions even include the PowerPoint decks that were delivered by the speakers.
You will of course want to watch any session by Mark Russinovich, and can’t go wrong learning about the new Dynamic Memory feature of Hyper-V in Ben Armstrong’s session. Laura Chappell gives a killer session on using Wireshark to identify problems with network performance, and my buddy Iftekhar Hussain gave a session on Advanced Virtualization Management with SCVMM 2008 R2.
