Fun Game using Photosynth to get immersed into the movie: Angels & Demons
Wow! The Movie Angels & Demons is advertised on MSN using a combination of Flash and Photosynth. Well I would have liked to see Silverlight utilized instead, but the result is a fantastic combination of the two products. It does prove that Microsoft didn’t create Silverlight to steal market from Adobe, and that Adobe isn’t going to die because of Silverlight. The Illuminati card game looks pretty cool (click on the image).
Thinking about card games…that would be a good way to go. I guess you couldn’t call it Angels & Demons though, or could you? That might encompass intellectual properties, always something important to consider when building games.
I don’t get the idea behind why the Illuminati would want to destroy the Vatican, yes I read the book, Angels & Demons by Dan Brown, but the use of anti-matter appears to be a way to get fancy cars and women with short skirts into a scene not a bad idea though. I felt that the book Angels & Demons had a pretty weak ending, but a movie could clean that up by being shorter.
I felt that Dan Brown wrote Angels & Demons to be enough of a read to cover the flight from New York to London.
Think about it: If the Illuminati were so secret why do they have a web-site? Ok, it is a very poorly designed web site, but if you are going to have a secret society would you really have a web site?
Also, if it is a secret society, why is their symbol on the US Dollar bill?
Here is the definition of the Illuminati:
The Illuminati are the top players on the International playground, basically belonging to the thirteen of the wealthiest families in the world, and they are the men who really rule the world from behind the scenes (yes, they are mostly men, with a few exceptions). They are the REAL Decision Makers, who make up the rules for presidents and governments to follow, and they are often held from public scrutiny, as their action can't stand being scrutinized.
Umm, well personally I think that they are not making very good decisions, but this is a great idea for a game! Using Azure, Silverlight, and Expressions to build a game. Now you can’t use the plot from Angels & Demons by Dan Brown, but you certainly could use the concept of the Illuminati, but I would skip the whole idea that Jesusits are behind the whole thing, I just don’t see people like my parish priest doing that kind of stuff. Although he does have a Harley Davidson, and one them surfs from time to time, but really they have more interesting things to do.
What do you think? I think it could be a simple game that is humorous or serious. I hope the Illuminati don’t mind. I wouldn’t if I was one of them.
Remember if it is a secret you shouldn’t put your symbol on the US Dollar bill. But then again, why do we have a pyramid with an eye on the dollar bill?
Oh well, I am going to have fun solving the Angels & Demons puzzles on MSN to see if I can win the big prize. And so much for the post fixes on URLs, the movie website using the https://angelsanddemonsmovie.org/ <== .ORG for a movie, go figure.
