We’re pleased to announce that, after a great year of feedback and updates on Microsoft DevLabs, Small Basic has completed its early incubation period and is moving to a more permanent home at the Microsoft Beginner Developer Learning Center.
Thank you to all of you who have contributed your feedback to Small Basic, and we hope you’ll follow us to the Beginning Developer Learning Center, where Small Basic will continue to evolve and grow.
We continue to rely on you for valuable feedback to improve the Small Basic product, and the project and the forums will continue to be active and new announcements going forward will be made from its new home.

Nice that Small Basic does music, just like GWBasic and QBASIC used to. Any chance of reviving the old "duration" (microseconds) and "frequency" (HZ)statements for music? With those statements, judicious use of "loops" to raise the frequency by small amounts resulted in nice "bent string" blues guitar-like sounds. I miss 'em. Can we have them back? That would be awesome!
