What you normally do when you need to share a document with someone - your book-keeper for example, or a colleague who's away somewhere? Email? And then wait for them to send an amended copy back, that you have to remember to save? Or stick it on a memory stick perhaps? Wouldn't it be easier if you had an online workspace where you could access documents, no matter where you are....
Microsoft Office Live Workspace beta is a free extension of Microsoft Office which lets you upload your Office documents to an online storage area. Your workspace is accessed using your web browser through a simple Live ID login, and once your documents are uploaded you can invite people you work with to view or edit them via their web browser too. Learn more about it here.
You can sign up to Office Live Workspace here, and find out how to start up and use an Office Live workspace with these video demos here.
