According to Reform ("An independent, non-party think tank whose mission is to set out a better way to deliver public services and economic prosperity") it's not cool to profess our inadequacies at mathematics. A recent Reform report has states the drop in number of people taking maths A-level is costing the economy around £9bn, and adds that a maths A-level can put on average an extra £10,000 a year on a salary.
