TheServerSide.NET announced!

As a previous Java/J2EE developer, TheServerSide.com was always one of my well used and well visited resources. (In fact, I believe it was my home page for some time). Run by TMC (The Middleware Company), in the past few years the site has attracted a large community of enterprise developers, offering forums, valuable resources and articles.

Today, TMC announced the launch of TheServerSide.NET - an effort to expand these communities to focus on the entire range of technologies required to build enterprise applications with .NET.  Editor in Chief of TSS.Net is my good friend, Ted Neward. For anyone that's ever read articles from Ted's blog or any of the numerous books he has authored, you'll have to agree that this is the perfect role for him.

So, what's on the site today? Well, it launches with Tech-talks from Don Box (Indigo), Scott Guthrie (ASP.NET) and Vijay Natarajan (Borland Janeva), early public review chapters from the Patterns and Practices group, a number of .NET and architecture related forums, numerous news articles and case studies - the first of which covers a project that my team (.NEAT) successfully completed with Thomson Financial.

Congratulations to both Ted and Floyd Marinescu for releasing what I believe will be an invaluable resource. Now, go check it out...!
