Moving our Yammer discussion to the Office 365 Yammer Network and kicking it off with a YamJam on Dec 1
The Solutions Advisory Board (SAB) Yammer discussion is moving to a new location in the Office 365 Yammer Network.
With Microsoft and industry trends moving people and organizations to cloud-based services, the time has come to evolve the Solutions Advisory Board (SAB) into the Cloud Adoption Advisory Board (CAAB), a wider effort about Microsoft cloud adoption resources, activities, and deployment blockers.
The new CAAB group in the Office 365 Yammer Network is a great place to have ongoing discussions among CAAB members, but its location in the Office 365 Network also taps into the wealth of knowledge and experience of over 75,000 members. Despite its name, the Office 365 Yammer Network also hosts engaged communities for traditional, on-premises products such as Exchange Server, SharePoint, and Skype for Business.
Please join this group and continue to provide input as we grow our community.
To kick off this new focus and effort, on December 1, 2015 at 9:00 AM PDT, we will host an hour-long YamJam event in the new Cloud Adoption Advisory Board group. For those who have not participated in a YamJam event, it is similar to Twitter “Tweet Jam” or a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” event. Participants join the Cloud Adoption Advisory Board group and have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in live group discussions with subject matter experts and other CAAB members.
After December 1st, we will begin shutting down the existing SAB Yammer Network and transitioning all discussions to the new Cloud Adoption Advisory Board group, with a goal of removing the SAB Yammer Network the first week of January 2016.
