Outlook 2003 Integration API April 2005 Update

We just released the April 2005 update to the Outlook 2003 Integration API.

Download for the CHM is here:

https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=135F4D99-F480-4A81-AF8F-F6E4896611E2

The MSDN documentation should update some time in the next few days. When it does, you'll find it here:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa193231.aspx

Note that the date on the Welcome page will be updated from December 2004 to April 2005 when the updates go live.

Many thanks to Dmitry for some valuable feedback that went in to this update.

As always, let me know any questions/concerns you have with the documentation.

    Hi Stephen,

Still there are no header files for this API and no examples found how to use this API...? I didn't see any difference between the December 2004 release and April 2005 release...?

    Thanks in advance...

There were a number of changes between the two. I don't have a full list, but you should see the differences if you put the two side by side. One thing I know was changed was the documentation for the Connection State API. Everything I posted in this article:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/stephen_griffin/archive/2004/12/21/329139.aspx
    was updated in the doc.

As for samples - I've got a sample for the replication API in the works. The initial plan is to publish it here in my blog.

    Thanks Stephen,

I am looking forward the sample for the replication API in your blog soon. There is one in MIME-MAPI Convertor API, but I am not sure that it is complete, because it is not in English. :http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.de.vc/browse_thread/thread/ba93b5c1727ec0b4/a3fc0a42e05886e1?lnk=st&q=CLSID_IConverterSession&rnum=1&hl=en#a3fc0a42e05886e1

I've been looking for more information about the Replication API. Any chance of getting a sneak preview of your sample?

Stephen, In Outlook2003 in the Scheduling page of a Calendar form, there is an option to display meeting details. Also when you position your mouse over a meeting, there is a tooltip displayed with data. Looking at the Free/Busy interfaces, I couldn't find any way to return to Outlook other information than start/end time and status. Is there a way to make Outlook display the details for the users invited to a meeting?
