Great to see my old chums at ALK have integrated Windows Live services in to their already excellent Co Pilot sat nav service. This new feature allows you to enter a search for say, bank or coffee, and be shown the nearest result. All using the Live Search API and another great example of (local) Software plus (cloud) Services.
If you're heading down to the annual mobile-fest that is 3GSM next week, go visit Michael, Dan, David and the team on the Microsoft stand, Hall 1, D19 or the NAVTEQ stand, Hall 1, G45. Alternatively visit www.copilotlivesearch.com
(or alternatively meet me and the guys the following week at The Toucan in London for some great Guinness)
Hat tip to Jason for reminding about this
