I remember when Bluetooth first came on to the scene and we marvelled at how you could connect two inanimate objects across a small distance and then quickly ran out reasons for wanting to. Now any self respecting device has a Bluetooth transceiver and its handy for connecting all manner of diverse devices. Gone are the days when you needed a blackbelt in radio comms to get your smartphone talking to your PC.
Look what happens now - you take your nephew out to the local kids playpen and whilst connecting my new Touch Dual to my PC I find a gazillion devices. Decided not to hack in to them as my nephew needed football coaching...priorities!
