Adapted from Seth Godin’s coining of The clowd (cloud + crowd) I thought I’d extend it to clowdsourcing. I’ve been playing with Live Mesh some more recently and thinking about scenarios where it’d be useful.
Doing some Live Mesh based crowdsourcing is one of them – I want to be able to upload all my photos from my recent Nurburgring trip to my Mesh and be able to hook them up to something like Mechanical Turk to automatically have someone tag all of the cars and points on the circuit for me – for a fee of course. I’d then be able to search all my photos by saying show me all photos of BMW’s in the Adnauer Forest section. A simple enough task but one of many that could really start to show consumers the power of cloud computing.
