Could this be my new laptop? Quite possibly…it’s the Mac I always wanted :)

LaptopMag has a pretty decent review given their limited hands on at CES. Things that attracts me to it?
- backlit keyboard – I can’t understand why Sony haven’t added this to the Vaio line
- aluminium construction
- all ports on the read of the unit. hurrah!
bring it on…

Oh yes!! The only shame is you'll have to put a "I'm a PC" sticker on it!Anonymous

Oh, and the backlit keyboard is the idea that Dell celebrates as having emerged from their IdeaStorm i.e. customer-led innovation. http://www.ideastorm.com/ Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0SOXW_K56wAnonymous

Wow... well actually I don't care much for looks of any machine but it's nice to see a challenge to the Mac in that area. The only thing that would potentially stop me buying this is the keyboard's design, doesn't appear tactile enough in that video. If you do get one please review it!Anonymous

The Adamo shall come when it does, in the mean time I received my XPS 16 yesterday & boy this machine looks gorgeous! As far as Backlit keyboards go, I don't understand why aren't they there by-default in ALL laptops.Anonymous

For sure, backlit keyboards should be de facto on laptops going forward.
