Dilbert on being a good presenter

More quality from Scott Adams today on Christmas Eve.

I was chatting with a good friend last week and discussing how presenting has become the part of my job at Microsoft I enjoy the most. I think it's a combination of the performance part of it and the imparting of information. The combination of these things is what helped me become a better presenter and when I used to do just the latter I didn't enjoy presenting. When I found out that people actually would like to be engaged (or even entertained) the light bulb clicked on.

Be passionate and be memorable and tell stories.

That's the key I have found to good presenting and whilst I'm still learning to do it myself, all my favourite presenters do this.

If you want to get better at presenting and telling stores, you could do a lot worse than spend some time with my friend Katie Ledger .
