Whether out of choice or necessity, over one million people in the UK have more than two jobs. A 'portfolio' career can offer freedom, flexibility and fulfilment. I sort of feel I have a portfolio career within Microsoft – I’ve always sort of had my day job and my night jobs. My day job at the moment is cloud computing strategy but my other job is blogging, social media, technology advisor, speaker etc. Not really a portfolio career as defined above but it feels that way.
The book promises to be a good read and having seen a lot of one particular chapter I’m looking forward to the whole thing. It’s written in Katie’s quirky style which will make it enjoyable for sure. Oh and it’s full of Hugh MacLeod cartoons. Bonus…
