Fireflies before the storm

I've been called a few things but never a firefly and I had to check Wikipedia to ensure it wasn't too inflammatory :) The association was made on the blog of our PR company, Inferno and referenced Darren Strange and my blog work. Inferno have been working on Gordon Frazer's (our UK MD) talk at the CBI Summit today. The whole summit this year is looking at the issue of Talent and the UK economy - good timing given the Developing the Future launch last week.

Grant Currie of Inferno interviewed Darren and I via email about our blogging and you'll see our answers are very similar. This answer typifies our collective views

I can’t imagine not having my blog now. It’s fantastic that a company of our size allows its employees to speak openly and freely and engage with customers and partners directly. It’s doing a HUGE amount of good for the company and I personally feel quite proud to be able to have the potential for such impact.

Best of luck with it Gordon :)
