Geek Marketers

How long before this becomes the new CIO? According to Steve Rubel (and I agree with him)

"dozens of Fortune 500 companies -- including some of our clients -- are recruiting Geek Marketers either from within or outside. That's not their specific title, of course. However, it is their role".

I think it's actually a little part of what I do but even more so people like Darren Strange though it's not our day jobs.

Does Microsoft have official roles like this yet or even unofficial? No, but I know a lot of people who fit the bill. Check out the list Guy Kawasaki found to see if you have them.
