I've blogged about the work of Thirteen23 before and after recently rebuilding my PC with Vista I wanted to go back and install Nostalgia as it's a great way to manage my Flickr account. I noticed they'd updated that but also added a new application called Denounce. It requires Vista and/or .NET 3.0 and provides a very cool podcasting/blog reading interface. It reminds me a bit of Microsoft Max but it's more functional and cooler for me. Granted it's not going to replace Google Reader for me as there is stuff there I miss like the ability to share the posts with others - though I suspect they could add that in about 10 seconds. They've got some very cool UI going on here though which makes reading a pleasure and stuff like the text sizer which flows the text beautifully (like NY Times Reader). In fact, a mix of some of the Times Reader's newspaper like UI this app would be outstanding. If they could link to Windows Live Writer to allow me to blog what I read with a built in link that would be a killer app for me. One I'd even pay for!
