As some of you know, I hail from Liverpool originally and am also a huge fan of Banksy. Last time I was home I saw that The Whitehouse pub on Duke Street was up for sale. The buyer gets the largest Banksy artwork ever included for free.
A tempting investment in the current climate :)

I live on Duke street, this sale can either mean two things- we lose a great Banksy painting whilst losing a decrepid building, OR we have a decrepid building for a very long time. Half of the painting is damaged but anybody buying it will have to destroy the rest if they want to actually use the building... shame.
