Microsoft and Banksy

This is too strange - Microsoft providing a Banksy style stencil for a little bit of urban graffiti. It's all part of a website called www.ri53aga1n.com which is a sure sign that I am getting old as I have no idea what it's all about but a quick stroll around the web led me to the answer. It's all about the mouse though some think the campaign is tres naff. No worries, Habu will be along soon for a pop at. I'm personally waiting for the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 but have managed to grab a Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 in the meantime. Gonna need to buy more cheese for Chez Clayton's troop.

Anyway, back to the stencil where we're being socially aware to avoid lawsuits I suspect- the stencil says

We want you to enjoy your RI53 AGA1N stencil, but we would also like to remind you to be respectful of yourself and others. Microsoft Corporation does not encourage vandalism. Ask for permission to use your stencils on property that is not your own and most of all be safe"

There you go Banksy, wise words on how to do art :)

On a related note, we're cranking out a tonne of new sites at the moment that are off the home base of Microsoft.com - seems like some teams are just getting out there and doing their own think. Cool stuff I think
