Well, not strictly true but it's not far off
Microsoft wants your contribution to a dictionary of local dialects it is creating, to be used in conjunction with the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
Once the dictionaries are up and running, you'll be able to type in your own dialect without seeing the squiggly red lines. Cool eh?
Email your favourite regional dialect words along with its definition and the area that the word comes from to dialect@microsoft.com.
Contributions will be reviewed and included in the dictionary when it is launched in June. Needless to say, swearwords or slang won't be considered. Well that rules out much of my scouse dialect then but I'm still gonna give it a go. Be great to have someone decode Jamie Carragher's scouse language!
Oh and 10 lucky people the chance to get their hands on a copy of Microsoft Office 2007.
