Microsoft’s Bach Mentions Twitter

Whilst the rest of the tech world (okay, maybe the blogosphere) is all a flutter about Twitter it’s refreshing to see one of our execs mention Twitter. Robbie Bach who heads up our Entertainment and Devices Division referenced it in the Blacks at Microsoft Minority Student Day at our Redmond Campus today.

“So think about the Xbox Live demo you saw, think about Facebook, think about Twitter, and you want to be able to connect to all those things in a rich way. We're going to enable those services in a very cool way on our future Windows Mobile technology."

Well some of us do that already Robbie using TinyTwitter and other apps but it’s still good to hear our top brass acknowledge Twitter and the need for Windows Mobile to be more consumer oriented.

thanks to Todd Bishop for the transcript.
