I’ve managed to set myself a couple of mad goals this year – one is a cycle trip in France which doesn’t look too onerous but will require the purchase of a new steed. Any tips on places to stay or visit on the trip gladly accepted.
The second is slightly more challenging in that I’ve agreed to run a half marathon in aid ofAgatha’s Appeal which aims to raise £25,000 for the Neonatal Unit (NNU) at St. George’s Hospital, London. Please feel free to contribute in any way you can to this worth cause.
Meantime, you can keep up with my training using the cool tools from Nike+ below :)

I bought some Nike+ trainers and kit over the holiday, haven't used them yet, I am too self conscious. I really wish the gadget was vista sidebar compatible- I am trying to avoid installing extras on my new laptops and Yahoo widgets comes under that title. Have you tired gyminee.com by any chance? Seems to be a very good place to track all sorts of exercise.Anonymous

Steve this is almost exactly the route me & some friends cycled last year. Have a read of Mark Pinsent's blog: http://anotherflaminblog.wordpress.com/ He can give you the list of where we stayed. Also our full route details are here: http://blogs.sanoodi.com/profile/mpinsent/ This May we are doing Perpignan to Biarritz. I can give you tips on bikes. First question is always "how much do you want to spend".
