This time by WinExtra looking for my Web 2.0 usage patterns. It's late so here is my vain attempt

Web 2.0 Apps I use:

Daily

• Technorati - to see who's linking to me and who to thank!
• Techeme - keepin up
• Flickr - it's a Yahoo service but what the hell, I love it
• Windows Live Writer - not sure it counts but it's one of the best products we've built in years.
• Google Reader - until we have something comparable it will continue to be my RSS aggregator

Weekly

• YouTube - with the ZuneIt plugin to copy my favourites (legally of course)
• Soapbox - same as above
• Hotmail - still going strong
• Wikipedia - via my IE7 search toolbar
• Twitter - now and then just to keep my hand in
• PayPal - for ebay etc
• EBay - for selling lithographs for charity etc

Monthly

• Tumblr - when I can remember
• www.randomdayout.co.uk

Taggin ya: Tom, Nicholas, Matthew, Ben, OfficeRocker

By what definition is Hotmal, Paypal or eBay Web 2.0. IMO they are some of the original Web 1.0 sites.

Steve, What do you use on your mobile? I would have thought you'd be giving Windows Live Search for Mobile (http://mobile.search.live.com/client/download.aspx) a whirl. -Jamie

Craig good point on Paypal & eBay. I used the initiators list and he listed them but agree with you, nothing too Web 2.0 about them. I would have said the same about Hotmail but if we define one of the aspects of Web 2.0 as use of AJAX etc then Hotmail's recent makeover gets it in the door. However, all depends on what you class at Web 2.0 as I know O'Reilly woudl say it's more about network effects. thinking I may go back and cut Ebay/Paypal from thelist
