My friends from EACS are running their excellent Optimise IT event again this year and they have James Akrigg from Microsoft lined up as a keynote speaker. That’ll be worth attending for alone as the man is a comic genius alongside being a technical giant and will be talking about Cloud Computing. I may go along to learn something myself!
They also have a series of breakout sessions that would put many big name events to shame with the likes of Dell, Websense, VMWare, SanDisk, Citrix and a host of others attending.
If you’re interested, it's running on February 10th, just outside Cambridge, off the M11.
