Safari on Windows?

Sounds like Steve put on a reasonable show today at Apple's WWDC but nothing much new to share - I guess you can't have a hardware announce for every gig. Some cool Leopard demos, though Cover Flow QuickLook looks an awful lot like Vista - but Safari on Windows? That I just don't get? Why? What is there to gain? Am I missing something?

I'm off to download just in case it really is *that* good...

Ok, it take almost 2 nano seconds to load a page and I can't tell when it started or when it finished. So on Safari that will take 1 nano second, man I'm going out and getting Safari, if I add up all the little 2 nano seconds I save in a day I might be able to save a whole minute. That would make my life so much better if I just had one more minute in the day. I don't care which one is faster when I'm only dealing with 2 nanoseconds. And I can't find massive complaints about how slow IE is let alone Firefox or Opra that Making performance a selling point. Is that all Safari offers is performance?

On what planet does Cover Flow look like Vista?  I have been using Cover Flow on the Mac for 2 years.

I guess it's my planet Mr Project :) What I meant here is that thumbnails on documents are in Vista so very similar. Bit like Time Machine and Shadow Copy?

I am glad to see this. More competition for M$ is always good.

Are you sure you're talking about CoverFlow then? CoverFlow is that thing in iTunes.

yeah you're right. I think I mean to refer to QuickLook rather than CoverFlow. I got confused by Engadget's review so thanks for the correction
