My new Sony Vaio should be here next week and though this ad doesn't show the SZ3 that I am getting, it's still a very cool ad. Ohhh, shiny shiny!
On a more serious note, I love the Sony site that explains Vista versions and the Vista logos on machines. We had lots of questions on the roadshow last week about machine specs and you can find the official answers at our Windows Vista site.

I am surprised you are getting a Sony after the Sony Root Kit issue. I am still trying to avoid buying Sony products for this very reason. Although, when their batteries appear to be in every dang laptop on the planet maybe it is a lost cause.Anonymous

Hi Keith. I didn't even think about the rookit thing to be honest but the battery thing does worry me a bit. I think that ultimately I've always wanted to try a Vaio and this unit being Vista Premium ready, lightweight and havign Core 2 Duo finally swung it for me. Rest assured I'll be posting my thoughts here on how it goes. my main reservation is that drivers will not be available for the Sony hardware keys etc for a little while.
