Two great new image related sites I’m enjoying that play with the Flickr API. First up is Multicolr Search Lab by Idée Inc who build an image montage from a colour palette you select from. Strangely addictive that visual similarity technology. Be sure to try combining 2 or 3 colours to see the real effect. Stunning.
Next up is Compfight who do something similar to Flickrleech though not as well in my opinion. Added to which I just found through writing this post that Flickrleech is now a desktop app for PC and Mac. Yay – stunning work by Andrew Houser

Another one that I quite like is Retrievr (http://labs.systemone.at/retrievr/) which allows you to sketch what you're looking for and it returns images that match. It seems fairly accurate, useful if you're looking for an image to fit a specific design.
