After initially not really buying in to the whole Twitter thing, I've been using a lot more lately though largely to keep an eye on my pals, their thoughts and their travels. Notably, Paul Walsh, Hugh MacLeod, David Brain and a few feeds like Techmeme, Techcrunch and Blognation.
You can follow me on Twitter though I tend to not say too much of any use :)
Thanks to Hugh as always for the image.
[update] I may be ready to change my mind on Twitter (again) after this week of hype laden commentary. Twitter = the new home of unconsidered comment in the rush to be first with the news? Discuss..

I heard of Twitter for the first time from a friend, a 'special' friend. I should've known what I was going to access... it's another useless .com .Anonymous

Twitter does what is says on the tin. It asks what are you doing now? So, there's going to be hype 'cos when something new comes out, that's how you feel, you get that "wow" moment. Okay, later, when you read up a bit more then it may not seem so cool, and so you'll Twitter that 'cos that's how you feel about it now. Twitter is all about the moment; if you are not interested in the now then you're on the wrong social network; it is what it is guys.Anonymous
