I've been looking at Core 2 Duo laptops this weekend and in the process came across Sony's very nice Vista Vaio site that explains the key benefits of Vista and highlights the support level of Vaio laptops across their range. They do an excellent job of explaining what the Vista stickers mean that you'll start to see on laptops. Some are Vista Capable, others are Windows Vista Premium Ready which means you get the full experience of Aero Glass.
You can see the full details of Capable vs. Premium Ready on our own site but hats off to Sony for making this info readily available in a refreshingly clear format.
HP has a similar site as do Toshiba and Dell and Gateway but so far Sony's is the prettiest.
