IIS 6 is one of the best web servers ever built. With IIS 7, our prdoduct team made it even better. Even better so because they built it on the .net platform but at the same time maintained comaptibility with older versions, added some super cool features and a new interface. Note that some of the features you will see in there are actually due to customer feedback!
