Tip of the Day - Outlook 2007: Minimize to Get More Usable Screen Space
People often comment how my Outlook screen looks so different from most peoples screens. Most comments revolve around two things, one, my use of Xobni, and two, the fact that my Navigation Pane is minimized. Once I show them the benefits of number two, they tend to be instantly sold.
Benefits
- Auto Hiding of the Folder Heirarchy – What’s the point of seen all your folders all the time?
- Add ‘Quick Tabs’ below the navigation pane when minimized (see bar on right)
- More room when working in Calendar or Contacts
