Peter Simons

After graduating from the University of Surrey in 1995 I initially worked in both software development and support roles until my first CRM project as a contractor on a UK wide Siebel implementation for Prudential Assurance starting in 1998. Since then I have continued my focus on CRM, moving into a permanent EMEA consulting role with Siebel Expert Services for approximately four years between 2002 and 2006 and then Microsoft Consulting Services from 2006 to date.

In my role at Microsoft I have continued to deepen my CRM expertise whilst broadening into other technologies including roles on large scale Microsoft Exchange, BizTalk and SharePoint projects.

My passion however still remains in the CRM and xRM space, using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to implement enterprise class solutions across many sectors including: Finance, Health, Education and other Government departments. Within this area my work is varied including: CRM Architecture; CRM business analysis and functional design; CRM Configuration; infrastructure design and performance optimization; and regular contributions / review of published CRM articles and methodologies including:

In some projects both with Siebel and Dynamics CRM I have worked on the end to end solution design and delivery whilst in many cases I have had the pleasure of working with partner organizations in providing proactive advice and guidance and short term reviews. This combination has allowed me to work on over 100 Siebel implementations and more that 50 Dynamics CRM projects to date and looking forward to the next 50!
