To accommodate Windows 7 users that want to move to Windows 10, the Backup and Restore utility that was removed from the product during Windows 8 has been added as part of the Windows 10 release. This gives Windows 10 users two options for backing up data, either Backup and Restore from Windows 7 or using File History, which was introduced in Windows 8.

Why does Microsoft keep on changing the backup software with every version? It seems that way with every version.
