Tip of the Day: Hibernate options when running on Windows 8/8.1

If you are running on Windows 8/8.1, you may need to enable the option if not listed under the Power menu.

To enable the hibernation option for the Power button, go to your Power Settings and select the options for the Power button:

Once in the Power Button settings, select the option to get the power settings that are unavailable:

You should now see the hibernation option available for selection. Check the box for?“Hibernate” under?”Shutdown settings”.?Hit?”Save Changes”??and you would have the hibernate option available for you when shutting down:
