The Technology Advancement Program is available to customers who purchased the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2003 with x64 hardware and would now like to exchange their software for the x64 version of Windows instead.To participate in this program, you must have both of the following:

  • Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition or Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition
  • A server with an x64 processor (for example, AMD Opteron, AMD Athlon 64, Intel 64-Bit Xeon, Intel Pentium with EM64T)

In order to be eligible for the Technology Advancement Program, your products must have been acquired between March 31, 2003 and June 30, 2005.
Orders for the Technology Advancement Program must be placed by July 31, 2005.
