Setting up an AD RMS Environment at Home - AD RMS Server and Vista Client

I've been continuing through the steps to get my environment up and running. I completed the task of creating a virtual PC instance of Windows Server 2008 that will act as my AD RMS server. I was able to add this server to the domain after manually setting the ip configuration. Additionally, I created a virtual PC running Windows Vista Enterprise. I joined this machine to the domain as well. Now I have the following machines:

  • Domain Controller - running on WS 2008
  • AD RMS Server - running on WS 2008
  • Database Server with Sql Server - running on WS 2008
  • Client - running on Windows Vista

The next step is to install and configure AD RMS.
