Video: MVP Global Summit 2011 Interviews, Question 1

Recently, we attended the 2011 MVP Global Summit in Redmond, Washington. We interviewed and filmed any MVPs who wanted to give feedback on Microsoft TechNet, MSDN, and Office.com online product documentation.

This is the first of three videos that we produced where we asked questions about our documentation. In this video, we asked the MVPs the following question:

When you need technical information for a Microsoft product, where do you look first?

We found that most MVPs immediately enter the subject they need help with into their favorite search engine. They then proceed to look for relevant content in the information that the search engine provided. Another method for finding Microsoft help is to start with the following Web sites:

The following video shows eight MVPs answering this question: https://www.microsoft.com/resources/msdn/en-us/office/media/video/sharepointtc.html?uuid=5c43d50a-a536-4b21-b697-dd0ad7a1f30e
