ADC SoundByte: A Lap Around jQuery
Our next SoundByte takes a look at jQuery – a JavaScript library growing in popularity all the time as more and more customers add script to their web sites.
It is charged at the rate of 1 hour from your ADC contract. For this price you may have up to 2 Live Meeting connections, and you are of course free to use these to broadcast to a room full of people in your office. If you require further information on this subject after the event, you can of course engage with the ADC team as usual to setup a suitable session.
SoundBytes are short, focused, technical sessions aimed at developers and architects, delivered by an Application Development Consultant over Live Meeting. Attendees will be given time to ask questions, and receive a copy of the material presented in the session.

Abstract |
The buzz about using jQuery to enhance web applications with script seems to be growing all the time. jQuery is a popular, easy to use, yet powerful cross-browser JavaScript framework. In this session we'll look at the basics of jQuery, and will then spend the majority of the session enhancing a simple existing application; adding styling, DOM manipulation, animation, and Ajax. Code samples will be in JavaScript. |
